Closed-cell foam insulation around the base traps heat and is compatible with step-in crampons. Dense Poron foam in the insole prevents the cold from passing through the sole of your boot and stiffening your toes. The breathable soft shell upper lets you push on without resistance. The Superfits’ superb construction from bombproof materials assures their durability while protecting your boots from straying crampon points, ski edges, and getting hammered in general. The Superfit Supergaiters are desined to be used with three specific types of boots: plastic mountaineering boots, plastic telemark boots and heavier leather telemark boots.
